The New World – USA and Canada

Apologies for the lack of updates, connectivity hasn’t been great so far. I’ve been in North America a week now, crossing into Canada today. Right now I’m in a cabin in the forests of Quebec, being hosted by Patrick, hugely kind and welcoming stalwart of the Ottawa Valley Land Rover Club, and tomorrow we are going on an off-road tour of the forests and wilderness of the region. Can’t wait.

The trip has been outstanding so far. Many new friends made and some amazing experiences. Egyptian engineering on Penny the Land Rover has let us down more than once; her bonnet blew off at 65mph in New Jersey and took out the sunroof for example, but we have met superb customer service from Rovers North in Vermont and North America Overland in Connecticut.
