So back in September I drove through a yellow light here in the UAE. It went red as I passed, which means I ended up with a £200 fine and the car (the Ford) being impounded for 15 days. I took the Ford into the impound yard last week to serve her time. This means, however, that until the Ford is out of the impound I can’t register the Discovery…  argh argh!

Never mind. I can still work on the Camel to get her ready for the hills and deserts…. been sorting out the wiring for some new spotlights and other stuff.

Also heading for Nepal again, at the end of the month. Land Rovers and mountains. Watch this space 🙂
