…. hasn’t started yet. I went into Dubai with the Disco on a flatbed at the weekend to get the registration finished, to discover they’d given me the wrong form before Christmas. So another inspection and another form ensued. Then back to Fujeirah – the police station closed at 2.30pm so I reckoned that, getting there for 1.30pm as I did, there was plenty of time. First shock – insurance prices have tripled since I asked how much they were in December (!?). Second shock – even though the places was open til 2.30pm, everyone went home at 1.45pm. So – again – by increments we progress. Off to Cairo this weekend and then going into the hills near Dibba the weekend after so the first weekend in March will be hopefully the final session of paper pushing!
